Ephemera

Ephemera is a group project in which the artist partakes in idea derivation, coding, sketch drawings, prototype making, and final construction.
This interactive Arduino-based installation is built to exaggerate the impact that one wave could have on the rest of the sea. The audience gets an “undersea experience” by triggering the sensors and DC motors. The paper unit at the top of their heads will fall down and embrace viewers.

The white origami structure will isolate audiences from the outside world, giving them a chance to reflect on themselves in an ephemeral moment.
